In 2009, in place of the US, China has become the largest automotive consumption market in the world and the total output was more than the total sum of Japan and the US. Because of a series of positive policies as expanding domestic demand, adjusting structure, and promoting the transformation of the state-owned enterprises, China’s automobile industry maintains a steady and rapid development. In 2010, the output of automotive was 18,264,700, and the consumption was 18,061,900, increased by 32.44% and 32.37% in comparison with 2009, maintaining the world first status.
